My why. Last year we were blessed enough to be chosen as one of the families. We are beyond grateful for a Special Wish and everything they do for our families. We are a family. Being part of the 24 in 24 last year was beyond a humbling experience. All of my kids joined in running and they loved it. It is so important to teach them young about kindness and love. This event engulfs just that. My heart has been set on being a part of this special event for a year now. I know we can’t take away the hurt and pain from these kiddos but if I can help and be a part of their wish and making it come true, that is a complete honor. I also had the pleasure and honor of meeting this sweet little boy who I am running for this past weekend. I just love him

On January 12th, 3 hours before being discharged, we were told and were surprised by the doctors when they said they had heard a small murmur in Beau’s heart. After running tests, we were told that Beau had multiple holes in his heart. At 12 days old Beau was hospitalized when his breathing become labored, and he was struggling.
