WHY I'M RUNNING
I took on the 24 in 24 challenge last year when my cousin's girl, Mela, was a wish kid in which I ran 1 mile every hour for 24 hours/24 miles. While it was physically and mentally grueling, participating in this event was a highlight in my year due to being surrounded by so many amazing people working toward the same cause: to grant wishes to over 200 local children who are battling life threatening illnesses via the non-profit organization A Special Wish- Northeast Ohio.
Last year the event was able to raise $447,000. Being part of this was incredibly inspiring and I knew immediately that I would continue to run and give back. This year I am privileged and honored to be able to run for Team Paisley- a two year old girl who has fought Leukemia. Please consider donating to this fundraiser to help bring some light and joy to these families and children that are going through what no one should ever have to go through. Every little bit counts and I thank you so much!

About Team Paisley
Paisley radiates light and is a beautiful source of positive energy. You would never have guessed this personable girl was born during a pandemic and lived in a hospital for more than 150 days. Behind that smile is a fierce warrior who bravely fights, and is winning, against pediatric cancer. Paisley was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) shortly following her first birthday in July 2021. This was an extreme shock considering her joyful manner and normal bloodwork. Looking back there is still so much gratitude for the providers who listened to a mother’s intuition about a faint yet concerning ...
