WHY I'M RUNNING
Oh My Word! I have officially hit and exceeded my goal - THANK YOU!! My new goal is to knock this out of the park! Please consider helping me help the kiddos with a gift to make their wishes come true!
My husband and I have two very special, healthy young boys - one whom is Liza’s age. Every day we are grateful for their well-being and recognize our blessings. We empathize with the parents out there who face some incredible challenges and put on brave faces for their littles. These kiddos deserve our support…and so much more!
I enjoy giving back to the community and want to take this opportunity to support the moms and dads, and young ones in my community whose challenges are greater than I can ever imagine.
I am grateful for the opportunity to support and represent Team Liza.
I am also grateful for your consideration to support my campaign. Thank you!

About Team Liza
Liza Hope or “Wonder Liza” as she has been nicknamed is 5-years-old (a whole hand as she says). Like big sister Emily, Liza was born with a rare genetic illness called Hurler Syndrome or MPS-1, which has resulted in a bone marrow transplant and ten surgeries to date. Liza loves kitties and babies, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, pretending to cook in her play kitchen, and wearing “beautiful dresses.” She enjoys playing with her two older sisters Ella and Emily, reading with her daddy, and singing with her mommy.
