WHY I'M RUNNING

I watched my husband run last year and cheered from the sidelines. I promised myself I’d do it this year to be able to help raise money for a wish kid. This is going to be extremely difficult for me to do as I am not running, but rather, walking. I am participating for Mick! Please read his story below. He’s been through so much in his short life and has continued to thrive and enjoy life to its fullest.

About Team Mick

Mick McGinnis was born on May 7, 2008. His three older sisters, parents, and family were so excited to welcome him into the family! Mick was born with an AV Canal defect and Down syndrome. Mick began working with Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy as ...
