WHY I'M RUNNING

I am taking on the 24 in 24 to help raise funds to grant wishes!! The things these children (and their families) have to go through are unimaginable and if I can run to help them even a little bit, then that's a small price to pay. I ran the 24in24 last year and it changed me for the better. The moment it ended I knew I would be a repeat participant. I cannot wait to begin fundraising to support these kiddos!!

About Team Amelia

Amelia was born on December 31, 2014. She came into this world as a 23 week, 1lb 2oz micro-preemie. Her twin sister Grace was only 7 oz and passed away at two hours old. Amelia spent the first 176 days of her life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She developed hydrocephalus due to two brain bleeds within the first few weeks of her life which required a VP shunt to be placed to drain the excess cerebrospinal fluid from the ventricles in her brain.
