WHY I'M RUNNING

I am running the 24in24 for every single child that is going through the unimaginable. As a parent I cannot fathom the challenges these children and their families have been through and I am honored to be able to play a small part in granting wishes for these children!

About Team Liza

Liza Hope or “Wonder Liza” as she has been nicknamed is 5-years-old (a whole hand as she says). Like big sister Emily, Liza was born with a rare genetic illness called Hurler Syndrome or MPS-1, which has resulted in a bone marrow transplant and ten surgeries to date. Liza loves kitties and babies, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, pretending to cook in her play kitchen, and wearing “beautiful dresses.” She enjoys playing with her two older sisters Ella and Emily, reading with her daddy, and singing with her mommy.
