In 2018 my 11-year-old daughter was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia and our lives completely changed. She has since fully recovered after 2.5 years of treatment, and we are thrilled that three years after treatment, she is still showing no signs of it returning.<br /> A wish-granting agency reached out to us, and they allowed her to have a wish granted, and her choice was Harry Potter World. The wish-granting agency allowed our family to spend a week at “Give Kids The World” and had special passes for Disney, Universal, and Sea World.<br /> I was determined to give back. I was introduced to “The 24 in 24” by Goodrunning.org. Goodrunning is a charity in Northeast Ohio that I have been a member of since 2017.<br /> I have since donated to “The 24 in 24” in 2018 and ran as a challenger in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.<br /> In my fifth year, I dedicate my efforts to each of the kids that we are running for. <br /> Families and children suffer so much from life-threatening diseases, and organizations like “The 24 in 24”, “A Special Wish – Northeast Ohio,” and many others try to lighten the burden.<br /> I know firsthand how cancer impacts young children and how they miss out on so much.<br /> Would you please help me and others grant these 10 young ones the wishes they desire and deserve and help them see they don’t fight this battle alone?
