WHY I'M RUNNING

The wish kids! Running one mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours is no small challenge; however, it is very small compared to the challenges these sweet children face on a daily basis. Your donation earns me a spot to help grant a special wish for one of these kiddos! This year, I am running for Liza to help grant her big wish! Let's go Team Liza!💜 💜Team Annika 🖤Team Jeremiah

About Team Liza

Liza Hope or “Wonder Liza” as she has been nicknamed is 5-years-old (a whole hand as she says). Like big sister Emily, Liza was born with a rare genetic illness called Hurler Syndrome or MPS-1, which has resulted in a bone marrow transplant and ten surgeries to date. Liza loves kitties and babies, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, pretending to cook in her play kitchen, and wearing “beautiful dresses.” She enjoys playing with her two older sisters Ella and Emily, reading with her daddy, and singing with her mommy.
