WHY I'M RUNNING
I was born with low blood iron. I had my first seizure at 18 months. It took 5 years and many tests to find out why I have them. I have fear induced seizures. Nothing can be done, but with a lot of work with doctors I am seizure free for 4 years. I have learned how to stop them from happening. I love running 5k’s, school cheer, competitive cheer, track and field and flag football. I want to give back to other kids who are facing medical conditions worse then mine and give them their wish. This is a way as a 14 year old that I can do that since I have no money of my own.

About Team Ruby
Just like her name, Ruby is a rare gem who radiates love, light and positivity. She was born on March 11th, 2020, which was the day the world officially announced a global pandemic. The world shut down on the day she was born and has never been the same since. When Ruby was 2 years old, and her little sister Olive was just 3 months old, she was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a type of brain cancer.
