Why I'm Running
Twenty-four hours of sweat and tears is nothing compared to the daily fight of our courageous wish kids. Four years ago, I thought my mom and I were out of our minds for signing up for this challenge. Twenty four miles in twenty four hours sounded impossible. Three 24in24 challenges later, I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am to be taking on my fourth! This year, I’m flying up from American University in Washington, D.C. to run this event with my mom. I appreciate every dollar we can give to our AMAZING wish kiddos and their families.
About Team Harper S.

Harper is one of the sweetest and loving 4-year-olds you will ever meet, even though she’s already been through a lot in her life. At age 2, Harper was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, among other diagnoses. Early on, Harper showed us no one can steal her thunder- she meets every negative with a smile! Her infectious laughter and happy go lucky personality attract people of all ages. Her fighting spirit has allowed her to surpass expectations of even the most respected doctors in the medical community. Harper continues to share her happy and courageous spirit with others to raise money for ASW. We are forever grateful for the foundation and all the joy it has and will continue to bring us.
